Game made in 48h for the Bivouac Urbain

There was a game programming competition last weekend in Quebec City called Bivouac Urbain, were the contestants had to create a game in 48h, and somehow find some time to sleep during that time. We decided to use our own engine for the competition, which can be thought as Horde3D + Bullet physics + libRocket + Lua. The levels are generated procedurally, and the entire gameplay is written in Lua. Our team was composed of 3 programmers and 2 artists.

You can check out a video of the game on Youtube : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0terbo5vEv8

We will release the binaries for Windows (and probably Linux) in a few days so come back here soon if you're interested in actually playing the game!

and made in 48h only ? I was knowing your blog because of your depth of field article, I'm making an open-source game software (3d tool+engine) named Maratis, maybe it can interest you : http://www.maratis3d.org.

Merci pour les articles et bravo pour votre jeu,
